GP Hoops was built on a simple belief: every kid deserves a real coach. Not a babysitter. Not a clipboard holder. A coach who listens, diagnoses, and develops.
We started with middle schoolers in Manhattan who had never played organized basketball. We gave them structure, skills, and accountability. We took them to the CYO Manhattan Playoffs.
GP Hoops (GP Industries LLC) is a New York City registered business. We manage everything — coach hiring, practice planning, game scheduling, player development — so your school or organization doesn't have to.
Former professional basketball player and coach Gregory Poleon played at the legendary Abraham Lincoln High School, won a regional championship at Coffeyville Community College, helped lead Pace University on a deep playoff run, and played 4+ years overseas, earning multiple honors, including League MVP.
As a coach, Gregory combines patience with accountability, building players from the ground up. He has led multiple championship and playoff teams, managed 7+ teams simultaneously, and helped athletes of all skill levels develop confidence, fundamentals, basketball IQ, and winning habits.
